Hand Dipped Beeswax Tapers affixed with real plants. Collected from the land in upstate New York. Some plants grew wild, others were tended to from seed. Includes two dressed tapers, selected at random.
Hand-dipping is the traditional candlemaking technique that repeatedly submerges cotton wicking into molten beeswax. With each dip, wax cures over the previous layer and increases in size. Real plants are then affixed. Tapers require a candlestick (sold separately) to secure in an upright position before lighting. Remove all plant material and cut wick to 1/4” inch before lighting. Approx. 5.5” length and fits standard size candlesticks.
Handmade in upstate New York using sustainably sourced, fresh, local beeswax. Variations will occur. Always burn candles within sight.
