Hand-woven by female artisans in the North East region of Bolgatanga, Ghana, each basket helps the women in these communities support themselves and their families through their time honored craft passed from generation to generation.
This handmade basket is made from long straws of dried elephant grass, which are then dyed and intricately woven into our custom Brother Vellies pattern.
Given the handmade nature of this item, each basket is unique with its own color variation, so we are unable to guarantee which color you will receive with your order.
